Local companies and other partners have joined Legacy Health’s efforts to protect our healthcare workers during the outbreak. Portland Garment Factory is making protective masks and dental equipment manufacturer A-dec is making face shields.

Employee gives birth after testing positive for COVID-19

Our providers are truly inspiring. Angela Primachenko, a respiratory therapist at Legacy Salmon Creek, delivered a baby girl at the hospital while in a medically induced coma after testing positive for COVID-19. When she left the ICU, the medical staff cheered and clapped. Angela and Ava are both happy and healthy.

A cheerful and loud thank you for our health care heroes

Providers and staff at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center were recently saluted by a parade of local public safety agencies. With sirens blaring, fire trucks and police cars rolled slowly through the Legacy Meridian Park campus in Tualatin, cheering providers who’d come out to watch the procession.

Clark County Fire District 6 recently honored providers at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center in Vancouver in the same way, with more than a half-dozen vehicles and grateful firefighters.

 Rapid testing now available 

We have significantly increased our capacity to test for COVID-19. We can now test more than 650 people per day at Legacy Medical Group clinics, Legacy-GoHealth Urgent Care centers and Legacy Health medical centers. Read more >>
